1. What types of health services are available?

Dr Krishna provides comprehensive primary care for adult men and women, ages 16-100+. Our physician is board certified in Internal Medicine, Clinical Hypertension and Geriatrics and has over 30 years of combined experience in treating such illnesses as diabetes, heart and lung disease, and a full spectrum of internal medical problems.

2. What are your hours of operation?

Appointments are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5 p.m with a lunch break from 12 noon to 1pm.

3. How do I schedule an appointment?

To schedule an appointment please contact us at 713.988.6774 and one of our receptionists will schedule an appointment for you. We currently do not offer weekend appointments.

4. Do you have same day/walk-in appointments?

We try to accommodate same day or walk-in appointments depending on availability. If there is an urgent need to see us the same day, please call our office at the start of office hours at 9 a.m. and we will assist you in setting up a same day appointment. We make every effort to accommodate you for a same-day appointment if your problem is time sensitive. Of course if you have an emergency or an urgent care need, hang up and dial 911 and go to your nearest hospital.

5. What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your appointment please let us know at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. There is a $25 charge for missed appointments or appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.

6. What should I bring to my appointment?

At each appointment please bring your insurance card(s) for insurance verification, driver’s licence and method of payment (credit cards or cash) as well as a complete list of the medications you are currently taking. Please also bring any notes or medical reports from previous treating doctors as well as the names of any physicians you have been seen by. New patients are requested to come 1o – 15 minutes proir to your scheduled appointment time in order to fill out the required paperwork.  

7. Do I need to fill out any forms?  

We provide the required patients forms on this website that you can print from your home computer and bring to your first appointment. Alternatively you can request & fill out the forms when you get to our office. 

8. What is your policy for patients without insurance (self pay patients)?  

Patients without insurance are expected to pay at the time of service and some discount may be provided to them; please check with our office staff about the possibility of a discounted fee. 


9. Do you see workman’s compensation/auto accident patients?  

We do not see any work related injuries or patients injured via motor vehicle accidents.  

10. What should I do if the office is closed and I need to speak with the doctor?

In the event of an emergency call 911 for assistance or call our answering service at 713.988.6774. If the call is pertaining to non urgent matters such as refill requests or rescheduling of an appointment, please contact us during regular office hours.

11. How can I get a prescription refill?

Prescription refills can be requested by contacting your pharmacy, however no refills will be handled after 5pm or during the weekends. We recommend requesting your refill when you have 5 days remaining on your current prescription. Dr. Krishna provides prescriptions with a specific number of refills. We recommend that the day you receive your last refill from your pharmacy that you contact our office to schedule your next appointment so the doctor can evaluate how you are responding to the medication and make adjustments as needed.

12. What insurance plans are you contracted with?

We are contracted with most major insurance companies as well as the dual Medicare and Medicaid plans. Please contact us at 713.988.6774 to inquire about your specific insurance plan.

13. Where do I call for billing questions?

Please contact our front office at 713.988.6774 if you have any billing questions.

14.  Are there any fees for filling forms?  

Yes there is a $25 fee for filling in forms; please allow 2 to 3 working days for the doctor to complete the forms.
